This piece originally appeared in The Hindu Business Line. In it, I argue that entrenched attitudes and lack of women leaders make the Indian workplace a challenge for most women. The problem is that diversity is still viewed as a "woman's issue". While diversity groups and discussions are good, they are women-driven. But the workplace is predominantly male. Gender equality needs male champions.
